MOTIVATION COMES EITHER FROM DESPERATION OR INSPIRATION
Few days ago I was on my way back from beach volleyball camp from Argentina… Sitting bored at the Madrid airport, waiting for my connection flight and willing to go home. The time went really slowly… So I decided to buy some magazine… Normally I don’t do it very often but on situations like that I couldn’t resist it… And you know what? While looking at the photos (even not reading it) I realized that whenever you look the only thing you can see are the photos of people having great bodies, makeovers, pregnant superstars not putting on weight even 10kg.. Wow… Such a pressure! The real world is so different!! Why do magazines sell us images of ‘perfect people’? Are they really that perfect? Because of what media show us we all try to achieve PERFECTION… But does it really exist? Someone once told me that PERFECT WAS BORING and there was no excitement about that… I kept thinking of it and I have realized that he was more than right… No one can be ever perfect because we are all so different!! The only thing we could do is TO FIND THE BEST VERSION OF OURSELVES… That’s the only way we can find stability, happiness and our individual, small perfection!!!! So, close the magazines, turn off your TV’s and look in the mirror cause that’s the only competition you may have. Set up your diet and training goals, write them down and just go for it. Always think why you have started and stop comparing yourself to someone else!!!
When I’d done my list for the first time, and it was a really long time ago, I couldn’t find a lot of reasons why should I keep fit. But over the years my list has grown up and apart from looking good, having more strength and feeling better overall I’ve found much more.

Reduces risk of depression, release stress & fatigue
Lifts up my mood and boosts my energy level
Helps me to sleep better
Improves my eating habit & keeps cholesterol on a good level
Helps me to meet new interesting people
Generally improves quality of my life!!!!
