IS DIET IMPORTANT IN A SPORTSMEN LIFE?
When I started my sports career I never thought about the diet and at that time I didn’t realise how healthy eating can improve my strength and stamina.
I never thought what I ate cause actually I had everything… until the last year. That was the time when I decided to try something new. I wanted to test myself and to see what would happen if I started eating well. So I completely changed my diet into having only a healthy stuff, 5 meals per day, every 3 hours.
For now my daily menu is:
BREAKFAST 80g porridge oats
MEAL 2 250g of rice, 300g of chicken and vegetables
MEAL 3 250g rice, 300g steak and vegetables
MEAL 4 250g sweet potato, 250g chicken and vegetables
DINNER 250g cottage cheese
Also I added some supplements and vitamins that are really important in weight lifting sports. For now I’m using WHEY PROTEIN, GLUTAMINE, AMINO ACIDS, CARBS AND PRE-WORKOUT PRODUCTS.
After all the changes I made I can see a big improvement. A made an enormous step, I feel stronger, I reached the body weight I wanted only by changing a few things. Obviously I need train hard to achieve success but right now I can see the progress and the only thing I want is to go forward. I’ve tried everything on myself, I’m a self- learner and even to know more I’ve recently completed my PT and Nutrition Course
Soooo, whatever you’re doing you need to remember about the diet. It’s the most important thing… Why? Because YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!
