IS DIET IMPORTANT IN A SPORTSMEN LIFE?

MARIUSZ

When I started my sports career I never thought about the diet and at that time I didn’t realise how healthy eating can improve my strength and stamina.

I never thought what I ate cause actually I had everything… until the last year. That was the time when I decided to try something new. I wanted to test myself and to see what would happen if I started eating well. So I completely changed my diet into having only a healthy stuff, 5 meals per day, every 3 hours.

For now my daily menu is:

BREAKFAST 80g porridge oats

MEAL 2 250g of rice, 300g of chicken and vegetables

MEAL 3 250g rice, 300g steak and vegetables

MEAL 4 250g sweet potato, 250g chicken and vegetables

DINNER 250g cottage cheese

FOOD

Also I added some supplements and vitamins that are really important in weight lifting sports. For now I’m using WHEY PROTEIN, GLUTAMINE, AMINO ACIDS, CARBS AND PRE-WORKOUT PRODUCTS.

After all the changes I made I can see a big improvement. A made an enormous step, I feel stronger, I reached the body weight I wanted only by changing a few things. Obviously I need train hard to achieve success but right now I can see the progress and the only thing I want is to go forward. I’ve tried everything on myself, I’m a self- learner and even to know more I’ve recently completed my PT and Nutrition Course :)

Soooo, whatever you’re doing you need to remember about the diet. It’s the most important thing… Why? Because YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!!!
