Thanks for visiting my blog. I would best describe myself as a MULTISPORT ADVENTURE ATHLETE and MOUNTAIN RUNNER. I began endurance racing in the mountains in 2012, after years of rock climbing and mountaineering I decided to explore a new way to experience the mountains and entered the very first Celtman Extreme triathlon that takes place in Torridon, in the Highlands of Scotland. Since then I have not looked back!
If it involves long distances, mountains, mud, swimming, bikes and running I will probably be there.
1ST PLACE at the Wasdale Triathlon 2014, the hardest half iron distance race in the world
2ND PLACE at the Celtman Extreme 2014, 3.8km swim, 200km bike, 42km run over 2 Scottish mountains
2ND PLACE in the High Terrain off road duathlon series 2014, a series of 4 races with mountain biking and off road running
Represented Northern Ireland for mountain running 2013 and 2014, in 2014 I raced the Pikes Peak Ascent, Colorado as part of the World Long Distance Mountain Running champs, a uphill only race that climbs to a height of over 4300m.
GOALS FOR 2015:
Celtman Triathlon, going back hoping to go one better than last years second place.
Norseman Extreme Triathlon, I will be racing as an elite here, it is considered the hardest Iron Distance triathlon in the world.
The Brutal Triathlon, an Iron distance triathlon that take place in Snowdonia, the final run goes up and down Mount Snowdon.

I have recently taken some great advice from Michael Rajczak, the owner of Ealing Vitamin Shop, on my diet and supplements routine in order to improve my body composition for next season. We have added some vitamins, BCAA, Beta Alanine, Glutamine and Whey 100 to support my training (up to 18hrs per week). More to come on this but pleased to say so far it has been a success in a very short time!
